Battlespace Daily is committed to making the brief usable by everyone, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, captions, or high-contrast display modes. If any part of this site or our episodes is blocking you, tell us and we will fix it.
Conformance target
We build to WCAG 2.1 Level AA as our baseline, and we check every deploy against the axe-core rule set (the same engine behind Lighthouse and WAVE), plus manual keyboard and screen-reader spot checks.
What we do on every page
- A skip link as the first focusable element, and a single
<main>landmark. - Semantic HTML: real headings in order, real buttons, real lists.
- Alt text on content images, empty alt on purely decorative ones.
- An explicit label or
aria-labelon every form field and control. - A visible focus ring on everything reachable by keyboard.
- Color contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text.
- Reduced-motion support: animation is dropped when you ask your system for less motion.
Known limitations
Episode audio is served through the browser's native player, and our video lives on YouTube, whose player we do not control. If a specific episode or embed is inaccessible to you, email us and we will provide the content another way, including a written transcript of the day's brief.

Email [email protected] with the page URL and what went wrong. We aim to acknowledge every report within 2 business days and to fix it or provide a workaround within 10 business days.
